• Assembly MECs are used to build structures with, having a multitude of tools built into their arms for ease of access.
• Astro MECs deploy orbital satellites to watch for weather patterns and migration patterns in creatures.
• Submarine MECs are able to dive into extreme depths and are mostly used for exploration though many have combat capabilities to fend off aquatic creatures.
• War MECs are made explicitly for combat. Many times they are repurposed into other types of MEC since large scale combat is not common. Popular in fighting against The Malign.
