Those that feel the mind


Mentalists that are able to move objects with their mind or read the thoughts of others. Psychics are also able to feel Adrem and measure how much psychic energy is in an area. Psychics are quite common and most people are used to dealing with them in one capacity or another. Certain charms can lock away psychic abilities in an area but will not stop a psychic from feeling Adrem or being able to sense the levels of psychic energy.

Psychic’s have information on mental effects, psychic entities, the emotions of other beings, and the motivations of other beings.

Empathy


VS: Your psyche vs the target’s choice of mind stat.

Effect: You are able to sense the emotions of those who are in close proximity to you. Consenting characters do not need to make a roll for this. Nonconsenting characters make a VS. Upon success, you are able to sense the surface emotions such as happiness or fear.

If you successfully feel another character's emotions, you may try to change them. Consenting characters do not need to make a roll for this. Nonconsenting characters make a VS. Upon success, you are able to exert influence over them to swing their mood into a different disposition. The moods you can try to impose are: angry, apathetic, content, joyful, or sad. If a mood is changed this way, it does not overwhelm the character, instead becoming a feeling that will influence them in slight ways.

Anytime you read the emotions of a character, they are able to feel the psychic presence touch their mind. They may make a brilliance O.R. to figure out the source of the presence. As psychics are common, most characters can tell the sensation of psychic empathy. It is not immediately known where the empathic force might be coming from.

If an actor does not want their character influenced in this way, empathy does not work on them.
