Star Shades appear as the silhouette of their former selves, filled in by the starry night sky. They have no motives or thoughts, and most of the time wander aimlessly through The Starways until they finally fade into nothing. Star Shades can sometimes perform gestures that they may have made before becoming shades, though there is no true meaning behind it, as if it is the muscle memory of another life.

They have no physical form and cannot interact with others in such a manner. There are ways to harness Star Shades for energy, obliterating them in the process.
