Those that travel between


Magical surveyors that are able to see and touch The Starways. They are able to trace the ley lines of The Starways and find paths safely through the cosmic veil. Cosmographers set up Starstones at different locations that act as anchors between two points which open portals that anyone or anything can use to travel instantaneously between the Starstones.

They are integral for many communities across realms since they maintain the quick travel portals that allow communities to connect to eachother. They are also able to track how much traffic is traveling within the Starways through Starstones they have access to.

Main Stat: Instinct


Instinct is a Cosmographer’s most important stat that most of their abilities and traits revolve around, with a growth cap of 8.

Overview


This is a calling that is heavily based around the utility of being able to move easily in areas or back to their home base. Cosmographers also have the added benefits of better chances of first turn in combat and being able to gather information without requiring brilliance

You can always tell which way is North, even when you cannot sense the sky.

When rolling for turn order, you may add your Instinct to your roll. If you would be attacked and you have not yet had a turn this round, you may add your instinct to the VS. This effect can be used even if turn order has not yet been decided and can only be activated 1 time per round.

Guidance of the Ley Lines


Anytime you would roll your instinct to for outcome rolls or VS, you may be given information about beings, objects, or places in your immediate area. Discuss with the orator what information may be useful if they do not readily have something available.
